A square case, smaller than it photographs, ringed by a fluted bezel cut in fine vertical ribs that throw light in every direction as the wrist moves. The dial is plain gold with batons and nothing else, which it has to be — the bezel and the strap are both busy. The strap is a printed leopard on a narrow band that buckles flat. Signed IKEA on the dial.

Gold-tone case on a leather strap Keep the strap out of water — leather darkens and stiffens once it has been soaked. Wipe the case with a dry cloth. A quartz movement wants a new cell roughly every two years.
